Congratulating Britain’s Got Talent winner Colin Thackeray in the 2019 final were students from Gordon’s. The students were attending the Founder’s Day Parade at the Royal Hospital Chelsea when they met the singing war veteran and Chelsea Pensioner who triumphed on Sunday with the song ‘Love Changes Everything’. Each year representatives from Gordon’s are invited to attend this special event which remembers King Charles II who issued a Royal Warrant for the foundation of the hospital and commissioned Sir Christopher Wren to design it on the 66 acre site. Dressed in their ‘Blues’ marching uniform, the group is selected due to their marching skills. This year the Annual Review was performed by HRH the Duke of Sussex.
